Our name summarizes the way we do things. Just Like Family was established to fill a need in this area for a company that treats its clients and employees with values like respect and kindness. It is a rewarding experience to work in the field of helping others and we are grateful to come together and help care for the Western Slope community one person at time. Just Like Family aims to serve its clients with the same care that a loved family member would receive.
Meet the Owners
Just Like Family Home Care is a family business. Kelsey and Caleb Koski are the founders and co-owners. They both were born and grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley and were married in 2014. They live on a ranch in Silt Colorado with their four wonderful children and Kelsey’s father John Nystrom.
When John’s health took a turn for the worse in 2020, Kelsey and Caleb have been his full time caregivers ever since. He is very fortunate that his daughter Kelsey has a background working as a CNA in the home care field. Caleb has been able to help John with practical things around the house.
Through this experience the Koski’s learned that there is a great need for reliable, professional, and kind care givers in this area. They also realized that family in this role need a break, and that was part of the inspiration for starting this company.
